After four active weeks of prep, yesterday we listed the our current house in Parker for sale.The number of items completed during that time, put us back in the construction mode.
During this time besides the cleaning normally done we did a few other things:
- Painted the family room, master bedroom, master bath, laundry room and Derek's Den.
- Replaced three windows, where the seals had broken.
- Removed the furniture... a few times.
- Sold the dining room set.
- Refinished all of the hardwood floors.
- Recarpeted the entire house.
- Removed a tree in the backyard.
We ended up even sleeping on the floor in the office one night when the floor refinishers became fairly aggressive in their taping to keep us out of the house and off the floor (we had been big stepping between the garage and stairway for the previous nights).
But now its for sale, and we will wait and see.
Next weekend, Pinon Rock and relaxing...wait, I need to re-do the rear ceiling trim, move in the new couches, etc. maybe we can sit around for a couple of hours on Saturday anyway.
