This is the first official day of retirement.
The Team at work had a real nice going away at a local Irish Pub on Friday evening, thank you everyone.
The next couple of days are about getting the crash pad in Parker closed down and everything consolidated up to PR. Wouldn't you know it would be kinda snowing today.

We found your website thru our good friend whose webiste is the Hermitage. We really enjoy reading your blog and checking out all of the wonderful items that you and Marlys make. We have a cabin in the San Luis Valley that we are building ourselves. It's been a long process and still has a long way to go but it is ours and it makes us happy ! :-) We will be retiring there as well but we still have quite a few years left. Happy Retirement to you guys ~ have fun and keep blogging! Maybe we can make it up your way sometime. Take care.

Acutally we will be heading thru the Alamosa later this month on the Camper Shakedown Cruise Spring '10 Tour.
Leland and the Hermitage is loaded into the GPS and we plan on stopping in.

That is great that you will stop by and see him. He really is a wonderful man; we consider ourselves blessed that we found him not far from our place. You'll have to bring him some wine in a blue bottle :-)
